​"After The Bell" is after school child care and MORE!
Located at Beavercreek, Gaffney Lane,
*Holcomb, Candy Lane, McLoughlin & Redland Elementary Schools
 

  • Kindergarten through 5th grade
  • Monday-Friday after school dismissal until 6:00 pm
  • Safe, affordable and conveniently located at your child's school
  • Snack, learning centers, enrichment opportunities and play

           After The Bell Rates:

$75  Registration Fee (one time fee per family, per program year)
$17.00 per day, per child
$275.00 monthly rate per child (for families needing more than 16 days per month of care)
Daily & monthly options available 
Space is limited at all sites due to space limitations.

Enroll and schedule early to avoid disappointment.
Do yourself a favor and join our auto deduct service.  Inquire with the Eastham Main Office.

Look for yearly enrollment at your home school.  After the yearly enrollment is completed please call Eastham with your child's name and what options you would like added to your account.

The Oregon City School District’s After the Bell Program is an after school enrichment option for K-5th grade students. It operates at all of the district’s elementary sites, with the exception of Jennings Lodge.  Jennings Lodge students will be bussed to Candy Lane after school for After the Bell at no extra charge. 

Our mission is to provide a high quality after school program that integrates the educational, emotional, physical and social needs of the child. In doing this, we commit to respecting the diversities in children and families while honoring the rights and responsibilities of the family unit.

A typical day includes: themed learning activities, play,  stories, crafts, gym and/or outdoor time.  Throughout the year, staff look enrichment and outside program opportunities to offer the students, such as: Lego Robotics, Chess, Mad Science, and more.

Homework help is not a scheduled part of After the Bell, but opportunities for students to independently do homework will be provided.   

After the Bell operates on regular school days from school dismissal until 6:00 pm.    ATB is not a drop in program, families must be registered and pre-pay for services.   There are no credits,  refunds or switching of days for canceled, sick or inclement weather  days, so parents/guardians are encouraged to carefully choose the schedule. 

* NOTE for some Holcomb families who attended Candy Lane or Jennings Lodge last year....
​Q. ​My child goes to Holcomb now​  but went to Candy Lane last year.  Can I still choose either After the Bell site?
A. ​Yes!  Parents have a one time opportunity (due to space) to choose Candy Lane  OR​   Holcomb After the Bell.  Just choose the one you would like upon completing​  the yearly (or initial) enrollment. 
When you contact   Rachael,  After the Bell Assistant Coordinator, 503.785.8520 ext 7317 or the Eastham Office ​to have the options added please let us know which site you have chosen. 

​Choose wisely as we will ask you to stick with your decision for the whole school year. Thank you in advance for your cooperation on this policy.
