​"After The Bell" is after school child care located at Beavercreek, Gaffney Lane,
Holcomb, Jennings Lodge, McLoughlin & Redland Elementary Schools
ENROLLMENT for the 2017-18  School Year
is NOW OPEN!

  • Kindergarten through 5th grade
  • Monday-Friday after school dismissal until 6:00 pm
  • Safe, affordable and conveniently located at your child's school
  • Snack, learning centers, enrichment opportunities and play

           After The Bell Rates:

$75  Registration Fee (one time fee per family, per program year)
$17.00 per day, per child
$275.00 monthly rate per child (for families needing more than 16 days per month of care)

To enroll each year click on the registration tile in your homepage. Look for yearly enrollment at your home school.  After the yearly enrollment is completed please call Eastham with your child's name and what options you would like added to your account.

AFTER THE BELL (ATB) PROGRAM GENERAL INFORMATION:                                    
The Oregon City School District’s After the Bell Program is an after school enrichment option for K-5th grade students. It operates at all of the district’s elementary sites, with the exception of Candy Lane. Candy Lane students will be bussed to Jennings Lodge after school for After the Bell at no extra charge. 

Our mission is to provide a high quality after school program that integrates the educational, emotional, physical and social needs of the child. In doing this, we commit to respecting the diversities in children and families while honoring the rights and responsibilities of the family unit.

A typical day includes: themed learning activities, play,  stories, crafts, gym and/or outdoor time.  Throughout the year, staff look enrichment and outside program opportunities to offer the students, such as: Lego Robotics, Chess, Mad Science, and more.

Homework help is not a scheduled part of After the Bell, but opportunities for students to independently do Homework will be provided.   

After the Bell operates on regular school days from school dismissal until 6:00 pm.    ATB is not a drop in program, families must be registered and pre-pay for services.   There are no credits or refunds for missed days, so parents/guardians are encouraged to carefully choose the days needed. 

Our office at Eastham is open 7 am- 4 pm M-F.  We will be happy to answer all of your questions.

November 10- Veteran's Day
November 23-24 -Thanksgiving Holiday
December 25-26 -Winter Break Holiday
January  1-2 -New Year's Holiday
January 15- MLK Day
February 16 I-nservice Day
February 19- President's Day
May 28- Memorial Day
*June 15th- K-5 Summer Camp Inservice and Transition Day
*June 18th- All program Inservice day
July 4-5 -  Independence Day Holiday
*May be designated as inclement weather make up days as determined by the OCSD school board.

 

SCHOOL'S OUT DAY CAMP

We also offer School's Out Day Camps  on many Inservice and grading days.
Camps are held at Eastham School
1404 7th Street, Oregon City
Hours:  7:00 AM - 6:00 PM
​Cost:  $ 50.00 per day.

17-18 Winter Camp Information will be posted on November 15th.  Spring Break Camp Information will be posted February 15th.

  • Campers need to bring a sack lunch and weather appropriate clothing.
  • Schedule carefully.  There are no refunds, switching of days or credits for unused or canceled days.chedule by the deadline or until we are at capacity.  
  • After deadline date or at capacity - camper may be put on a waitlist.
  • Don't forget a swimsuit and towel on swim days!
  • Please have campers arrive by 8:30am for the best club choices and to get ready on field trip days.
