We are excited to announce that Cori Waufle has been named the next principal at Beavercreek Elementary School. Previously Mrs. Waufle was a Teacher on Special Assignment in the Teaching and Learning Department for Canby School District. In her role, she has coordinated the curriculum renewal process, facilitated professional development and served as a mentor to new educators.
Mrs. Waufle brings with her over fifteen years of educational experience, and she is widely respected for her strong skills and background in instructional practices, collaboration, and communication.
"We took great care in selecting the next principal for Beavercreek Elementary," said Larry Didway, Superintendent. “Mrs. Waufle is an excellent communicator with a wealth of knowledge, and I'm confident in her ability to be a great school leader."
She earned a bachelor's degree from Colorado State University and a master's degree in education policy, foundations, and administration from Portland State University. When asked her goals for Beavercreek she was quick to say that she wanted to continue the legacy of academic success while maintaining a safe, fun, and welcoming school.
"I'm looking forward to building trusting relationships with students, families, and staff and I can't wait for school to start," said Mrs. Waufle.
