At 92.97%, Oregon City High School again has one of the state’s highest graduation rates, the third consecutive year the school topped 92%.
The district’s four public high schools had a collective 2018 district graduation rate of 84.5%, up 2% from the previous year. That’s 5.8% over the state average.
“Our focus on equity plays a crucial role,” said Superintendent Larry Didway. “We are pleased by the high achievement of our students, but we won’t be satisfied until every student graduates prepared for life, and student success is not predicted by race, gender or family income.”
