Safe Screens: Staying one step ahead of our "Digital Natives"

By the age of seven, the average child will have spent a full year of 24-hour days watching recreational television. That equates to nearly 9,000 hours! Over the course of childhood, children spend more time watching TV than they spend in school. Children spend an average of 17 hours a week in front of a screen, compared to 8.8 weekly hours outside.

Beyond television is the digital world of phones, computers, and video games. Do you know how to keep your child(ren) safe in this digital world? Do they know how to keep themselves safe?? Join us for this valuable session to inform parents about technology and provide them with tools ready to implement upon returning home.
