“I am uniquely unqualified to be an Addicts Mom. Yet here I am. I hope by sharing my story of pain, redemption and love that I might bring more awareness to the disease of addiction, a chronic life threatening disorder that is progressive. There is currently no cure. But as parents we can become more aware and we can learn to have open conversations with our children. We might just save lives.
It’s time to wake up. It’s not “those children” it’s my daughter.”
