I would like to volunteer at my student’s school this school year. What is the process for doing so?
Potential volunteers first need to be approved by the district to volunteer in OCSD schools. Visit the OCSD Volunteer website and follow the steps, which initiate a volunteer background check. Even if an individual is an approved volunteer, it is not a guarantee that there will be a volunteer position for that individual. Once approved, contact the school’s front office to see if there is a volunteer position that matches your interests and availability.
