General Information
With a staff of 15, facilities service’s continues to care for 24 buildings equaling 1.3 million square feet and over 300 acres. The crew successfully completed over 1600 work orders this last year, not including the hundreds of hours of moving, landscaping, mowing, and fertilizing. Facilities Services maintains a quality learning environment by providing proper lighting, comfortable climates, well ventilated building, well-maintained furniture, clean facilities that are safe from hazards, functional plumbing, heating/ventilating systems and much more. The facilities department does this work as efficiently and economically as possible.

The rationale for investing money in school facilities is not just about preserving the building; it is about providing a quality education. The condition of a school building can have a direct effect on:

Facilities Services (FS) strives to maintain a quality learning environment by providing proper lighting, comfortable climates, well-ventilated buildings, well-maintained furniture, clean facilities that are safe from hazards, functional plumbing and HVAC systems and much more. FS also strives to provide this service as efficiently and economically as possible.
Mission
To continuously strive for excellence and exceed our customer’s expectations with quality service.
GOALS:
Maintain promptness in responding to work orders and completing work orders,
Meet weekly to discuss projects, how FS met customer’s expectations, how FS can exceed customer’s expectations and what the department can do to continuously improve efficiency,
Continue educating/cross-training employees to meet legal requirements, compliance regulations and money-savings goals. Classes include: Building Operator Course, Boiler Operator, Motor & Controls, Pumps, Pesticide/Herbicide, Limited Maintenance Electrical License.
