Spanish Dual Language Immersion

Biliteracy and Bilingualism

Students learn not only to speak and understand another language but also to read and write in both languages - essential skills in a 21st-century global world.

High Academic Achievement

Students learn at high levels in both Spanish and English. Instruction is aligned to grade level standards in all grades across content areas.

Sociocultural Competence

Students learn to see similarities and differences in others as opportunities to connect, rather than obstacles to overcome. Our community practices standing up for the language and culture of ourselves and others.

  • In everything we do, we focus on:

    • Student Success: High growth & achievement in both program languages across content areas

    • Well-Being: Enduring skills that will enable students to communicate bilingually and to thrive biculturally

    • Community: Students contributing to their community by embracing their identities, appreciating diverse cultures, and creating meaningful connections

  • In ¡Todos Unidos!, every student will experience their identity and culture represented at school, pursue their aspirations, and persevere through challenges. Students will thrive in a school culture that elevates student voice, supports their well-being, and cultivates diverse multilingual community connections.

  • In partnering with home and culturally diverse communities, ¡Todos Unidos! empowers students to take ownership of their education and reach high levels of growth and achievement, to develop and strengthen bilingualism and biliteracy, and to cultivate sociocultural competence to succeed in a diverse society.
