Cheri Rizzo was a long time band teacher at Gardiner Middle School and even after her retirement she continued to volunteer in schools, music performances, fundraisers, and more! Cheri was a champion in nurturing a love of music and finding a connection with countless students. Her influence extended far beyond the classroom, touching numerous lives in Oregon City.

For years, Cheri's passion for music and dedication shaped not only student's musical abilities but also their character. Her impact was immeasurable, and her commitment to the community was evident in all she did. Cheri's legacy impacted so many students, families, and we are honored to have known her.
