Classroom Parties

Oregon City School District policy allows for two classroom parties a year. Birthday parties are not allowed in school, but a birthday celebration may be arranged in cooperation with the classroom teacher prior to the day of. No home-prepared foods are allowed due to County Health Department regulations. Due to the District's Wellness policy, we request that parents provide non-food items for student birthday recognitions if you have received prior approval from the teacher.

Arrangements for parties held at homes or other facilities are to be made outside of school. If children are going directly to a party from school, a note giving parental permission must be presented to the office before the child can leave school. However, our full bus loads may not accommodate your child's transportation to the party location.
