District Data, Assessment & Reporting Analyst
QUALIFICATIONS:

3. Previous experience in an educational setting preferred.
4. Previous experience in state reporting preferred.

JOB GOAL:
The Data, Assessment & Reporting Analyst in collaboration with the District Data & Assessment Coordinator are responsible for the integrity and accessibility of data and assessments related to student achievement. This position reports directly to the Assistant Superintendent of Teaching & Learning. This analyst supports district administration, building administration, staff members who coordinate processes using student data and/or administer district and state assessments. This position prepares reports for ODE and/or federal agencies. This position is responsible for identifying opportunities and taking responsibility for improving data, reporting and assessment processes and practices.
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Ensure student data is accurately and consistently maintained in various sources (Schoolzilla, Synergy, etc.)
2. Coordinate and monitor the delivery of classroom, district and statewide assessments (STAR, SBAC, etc).
3. Maintains and generates forms and reports pertinent to the delivery of assessments.
4. Coordinates training for school personnel on the delivery of assessments and the use of data systems.
5. Maintains knowledge of state reporting requirements and implications and implementation within the assessment system and record keeping in the SIS.
6. Maintain and continually develop databases for federal and state reporting.
7. Submit assigned ODE reports and collections accurately and on time.
8. Manage and respond to data & assessment work tickets.
9. Provide quarterly training and monitoring of building secretaries and administrative assistants accurate data entry and reporting.
10. Coordinate regularly scheduled communication with school support staff to disseminate changes, guidance, new data system features, shortcuts, share problems/resolutions, policy changes, etc.
11. Manage and complete annual training, set-up and configuration for assessment systems and data systems.
12. Coordinate with the ESD and other software and testing vendors to test upgrades, report problems, submit reports requests, share knowledge and communicate any potential improvements to the system.
13. Provide phone and remote desktop support to the users of the district data and assessment systems.
14. Maintain the confidentiality of administration, staff, students and organizations of the community.
15. Provide informative, accurate and courteous responses to requests for information. Effectively manage consistent contact with administrative and cabinet level staff concerning work related matters.
16. Work closely with Assistant Superintendent to develop budget priorities and track expenditures as compared to the department budget.
17. Analyze and present data related to teaching & learning for Superintendents cabinet and leadership team.
18. Other duties as assigned.
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:
As agreed. Salary to be established by the collective bargaining agreement and ratified by the Board of Education.
EVALUATION:
Performance of this job will be evaluated annually by the building administrator in accordance with the Board's policy on evaluation.
