Operations and Bond Program Coordinator


QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Minimum of five years of successful administrative support and/or project management experience in or with a public agency, preferably a K-12 school district.

2. Knowledge of Oregon public contracting rules and procedures.

3. Ability to coordinate and complete multiple projects and tasks at the same time.

3. Interpret and apply federal, state and city laws, school policies, rules and regulations.

4. Ability to make mathematical calculations.

5. Ability to prepare written reports.

6. Ability to present oral and written presentations.

7. Must respect confidential information.

9. Must be able to work harmoniously with the bond team, district staff, students and general public.

10. Demonstrated ability to use Microsoft products, Smartsheet Collaboration Software, and other enterprise

software(s).

REPORTS TO:

Director of Operations and Director of Capital Improvements

JOB GOAL:

Support the Operations Leadership with reporting, analyzing, and coordinating projects and programs. In cooperation with and support of the Director of Capital Improvements, coordinate and assist the office tasks and responsibilities of the Bond Office along with management of smaller bond and operations projects.

PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Assist in project management and supervision of smaller Operations and Bond projects.

2. Shared responsibility for administrative support of the Assistant Superintendent of Operations, Director of Capital Improvements, the Bond Office, and Operations Departments.

3. Responsibility to work closely with the Bond Accountant and Business Office in tasks related to budgets, reports, procurement, and document processing.

4. Assist the Bond and Operations leadership in developing operating policies and procedures.

5. With the Director of Capital Improvements, maintain major responsibility with regard to continually develop and accomplish a successful and high performing bond program.

6. Coordination and preparation responsibility for the organization and scheduling of meetings and presentations related to functions such as School Board presentations, internal and external meetings, safety committee, public meetings, athletics, community schools, and student council.

7. Assist in development of schedules and work flow procedures.

8. Participate in planning and evaluation of Bond projects, District insurance programs, budgets, financial forecasts and overall success of the Bond and Operations Departments.

9. Ability to work in different environments from office settings to construction sites and various school settings, inside and outside during all seasons of the year.

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:

Salary and work year to be established by the Superintendent.

EVALUATION:

Performance of this job will be evaluated by the Assistant Superintendent of Operations.
