Courier
qualifications:
1. Knowledge of processing and distribution methods.
2. Operate a panel vehicle and truck and hold valid operator's license.
3. Knowledge of school supplies and quantity designations.
4. Mathematics as applicable for figuring distribution and calculating mail rates.
5. High school diploma or equivalent.
6. Do heavy lifting and labor in receiving and delivering supplies.
7. Understand and carry out oral and written directions.
8. Ability to operate a mail metering machine.
9. Ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with supervisor, other staff, and the public.
10. Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable.

Perform assignments in such a way as to provide optimum warehouse services and performs courier services for the Business Office. Receive, break down mass orders and deliver supplies to all buildings in the District. Picks up and mails all outgoing mail for the District.
performance responsibilities:
1. Exercise judgment in performance of job responsibilities.
2. Distribute supplies and equipment.
3. Run special errands as directed.
4. Performs courier services for the Business Office.
5. Picks up outgoing and interschool mail from all buildings in the District.
6. Delivers to the post office all outgoing District mail.
7. Maintain harmonious relationships with employees and the public.
8. Perform related duties as directed by the Business Manager and Store Clerk/Warehouse worker.
terms of employment:
Twelve months, eight hours per day. Salary to be established by the labor agreement and ratified by the Board of Education.
evaluation:
Performance of this job will be evaluated annually by the Business Manager in accordance with the Board's policy on evaluation.
