OCHS Health Services Secretary
QUALIFICATIONS:
1. High school diploma or equivalent.
2. The ability to meet and work with the public; exercising tact, initiative, ingenuity and judgment in solving minor problems.
3. The ability to understand and carry out oral and written instructions.
4. Overall knowledge to enable the secretary to coordinate work required with other departments.
5. Current First Aid/CPR certification.
6. Computer and word processing skills.

High School Administrator/Designee and District Nurse
SUPERVISES:
None
JOB GOAL:
The ability to perform varied office functions including clerical, secretarial, bookkeeping and receptionist duties as well as serving as the Health Technician for the building. Act as a liaison between building staff, parents, and health organizations regarding health information of students. Must maintain confidentiality and use tact and discretion when dealing with the public, students and other staff.
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Coordinates the performance of varied office functions including clerical, secretarial, bookkeeping and receptionist duties.
2. Communicates with students, staff, community organizations, health-care providers, and the public using tact and discretion. Must comply with confidentiality requirements.
3. Works as a liaison between building staff, parents, and health department with regard to immunizations. Maintains school health files and clinic medical records on school students. Assists in reviewing information and preparing reports.
4. Searches records, requests information, identifies and tracks high risk students.
5. Orders, tracks, stores, and dispenses to the building and maintains first aid/ health supplies according to district protocol.
6. Maintains student health risk data base and assists in maintaining Oregon City High School Health Records.
7. Provides first aid for illness and accident within the scope of certification throughout the high school campus. Monitors storage and use of student medication at the high school. Assists in building health screening as needed.
8. Performs other tasks as assigned.
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:
As agreed. Salary to be established by the labor agreement and ratified by the Board of Education.
EVALUATION:
Performance of this job will be evaluated annually by the Building Designee and/or School Nurse in accordance with the Board's policy on evaluation.
