Tag Coordinator
curriculum support for teachers, students, and parents:
• Serve parents as a resource by answering general questions and clarifying TAG program services.
• Serve as a public relations advocate and communication coordinator regarding the Oregon City SD TAG Program.
• Provide lead support for the identification process, complete the TAG testing K-12 at the building during school hours, participate in program planning and help address social emotional issues of unique students.
• Assist with or support program implementation of goals identified on the TAG plans.
• Share information and teaching ideas with teachers during staff meetings.
• Support teachers in designing differentiation opportunities especially in the areas of level and rate of learning.
• Serve as peer mentor for TAG education for teachers.
• Coordinate instructional resources.
• Provide instructional support for unique academic needs of TAG students at the request of the classroom teacher.

school district responsibilities:
• Help coordinate and support events such as TAG evening events, Portland State Writing Conference, personal education plans, schedules and act as a support with parent~teacher communication regarding TAG students’ needs
• Assist principal to form a TAG Building Team to analyze student work in the referral and identification process
• Communicate regularly with the Director of Teaching and Learning/District TAG Coordinator regarding needs of your school and staff
• Hold a TAG parent/guardian meeting yearly
• Connect with TAG students in your building and assess passions/interests
• Recruit a parent for the TAG Advisory Committee from each school
• Serve as advocate for TAG students
• Communicate with parents by providing a TAG web page or link on school web site and link to the District web page
• Communicate with parents via SynreVoice and email regarding upcoming state conferences, differentiated curriculum and other opportunities for TAG students
• Complete TAG testing for K-12th grade students in the fall and spring at the building level (District pays for 2 days Fall testing, Buildings pay for 2 days Spring testing)
• Attend monthly TAG Coordinator meetings
